Ruff Tough Kennel bed

Post by shanebevel@gmail.com » Sat Jan 18, 2014 9:50 pm

Hey there, can anyone suggest a bed/pad for the intermediate size ruff tough kennel? I can't seem to find one to fit. I thought for sure Mud River would make one, but I can't seem to find it.

Thanks,
Shane

If the mud river one is slightly too large it will bend . I have one in each side of my dog box. It bends and goes up the sides but still works. Probably more comfortable for the dog.

I use a exterior door mat. The kind that has a rubber bottom and the natural straw like fibers stand straight up on end. They fit perfectly in the kennel. Water and dirt fall down the to bottom and the fibers are strong enough to support the dog about the debris in the crate. They cost anywhere from $20 to $10 (when on sale) therefore if you have a pup that's a chewer it will cost an arm and a leg to replace them.

They stand up really well and will last for several years except when you have a chewer, then all bets are off.
