When are you going to tell us all about the 2014 Western Open All Age Championship???????????

Hey...I plum missed this post. I was chukar hunting, trialing and working. Nice of you to ask huston!
My two boys went to Arizona after Christmas and ran in the trials there...The American Brittany Club Western Open All-Age was the first AKC Grand Field Champion thingie in the country. The championship was mid week and Paul Doiron handled my dogs for me. Apparently they both had fantastic races an multiple finds each...Patch showed the old man Sonny up and was named Champion to Sonny's Runner-up



this gave Patch 4 points and a win toward that Grand Champion title the first dog in the country of any breed to have the points. We went and killed chukars and quail a couple of days and then the fellas placed in 5 of 6 all age entries in some half hour club trials in So Ca. The ABC Western futurity was that week as well and in the All Age ...Sonny pups were 2,3 and 4. In the Gun Dog a Sonny pup was second. That should get all my bragging in..all in all a good January.
