Post by Sharon » Thu Feb 06, 2014 4:08 pm

Rick Smith is being inducted into the Brittany section of the Bird Dog Hall Of Fame this weekend in Grand Junction TN. He's helped a LOT of young dog owners get off to a good start. Congrats to him. :)

Good for him, Nice guy!
I was in one of his training classes when he was in Grand Rapids several years ago. Fun and I leaned a lot.
Thanks for the news.

The Smith family has given a lot to the Field Trial sport and helped shape the Brittany Breed.

Well deserved honor to a real gentleman and genuinely good guy. I hope his dad is there to help do the honors.

Rick's acceptance speach was great, very moving, from his heart, he almost broke down 3 or 4 times. Many members of his family and friends were there to share in this deserved honor. But Delmar was ill (Rick said it was not serious).

A true gentleman.
