Spare Time's Jim Dandy

Post by GunDogAdventures » Mon Feb 24, 2014 2:41 pm

Can anyone tell me anything about the brother of Llano's Tails Aflame - Spare Time's Jim Dandy? He's a great looking dog that I stopped and saw yesterday. Anyone ever see him run in a futurity or any trials? He's quite muscular like his sister and had a great disposition while we visited with him. I'm just looking for someone else's opinion that might have seen him in the field. PM me if you'd prefer.

Thanks.

I've seen Jim run in field trials. He is a very handsome dog and his breeder probably could have put a show championship on him if he was so inclined. Jim's sire is a dual champion. He ran an average shooting dog to gundog race the times I observed him. Sorry, I don't recall specific bird work although I know he handled birds.

I judged Jim at Ardmore and a couple of other places. He could run, like his grandpa, but where he went very BIG he didn't have much handle. Heck I like a little outa control so I liked him.
