Shotgun shells, is shotgun shells, is shotgun shells, as long as they go bang and you point straight they ought to get the job done.

+1

My guns have digested tons of these Herters shells in 20 & 16 ga. w/ no problems whatsoever...and the crimps are purty :)

PS...I use break action guns and I have read about some folks w/semi's having issues w/cycling depending upon the model of shotgun that they use.

Good price. Are they reloadable and do they come in 28ga?

i seen them at cabelas. they looked good. didn't have what i wanted but the ones i saw looked good. i also seen the slugs…....they looked funny to me. the slug was buried deep in the shell. hard to explain but it didn't look like my others.

The slugs you are describing sound like sabots to me

I think they are Cheddite hulls

The 16 ga hulls seem a bit flimsy while the 20 seem a little more stout....haven't seen 28's

I toss the 20's but have been saving the 16's intending to set up to reload for them...I have a 366 12 ga press that I'm going to modify for 16 "one of these days".

If you are set up for 16 I'd be glad to send you some empties to try and see how they hold up...likewise, if you reload 20's I'd be glad to start saving them for you.
