Have any of you purchased a pup from Pinehill Kennels in the last few years? How did the pup turn out. Thanks

I bought a dog from Gary, but it has been probably 15 or more years ago. My experience was very positive. I have primarily Miller dogs now, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another from Pinehill if they had what I wanted.

I bought a son of Elhew Blazin Hot from Gary some time ago as well. Absolutely the smartest pointer I've ever dealt with. Good nose, knew the difference between foot and horseback. I had bought him as a shooting dog prospect, and never cared whether he retrieved or not, but when he was 5 he decided that retrieving was fun, and retrieved very bird to hand for the rest of his much too short life. Lost him to cancer at 7 yrs.

Gary is a good guy, I bought a Damascus grandson from him years ago....dog was a bit of a hard head but Damascus was known for that....took awhile to get him right....he is now hunting grouse in Maine and his owners love him as the send me emails from time to time.

Sniff...I've owned one recently...don't have him anymore. Feel free to pm me if you'd like details about him and what my experience was. Thanks!
