Also try craigslist. Here in Washington there are 10 or 20 ads on right now. I got ferals 2 months ago that are sitting on 3 sets of eggs already. I'm picking up 15 unflown young white homers this weekend.

Try to stay away from white homers... At least where I am at they do not last long. They lack all the camo they will need to survive the hawk attacks. I started with normal white homers and realized it was worth the extra $ 10-20 a bird to get racing birds. There is a huge difference when you have flown them both.
What part of so cal are you in?

I'm in the San Diego area... Probably just looking for some ferals not sure if I'm going to make the jump to homers yet as I am renting and the landlord might get weird if I keep pigeons.

Pm me and if you need quail or chukar we also raise those. Ferrels look on CL . There are a lot. If you can't find them check out feed stores. Let me know if you can't find any and I'll help you out with the birds
Re: SoCal Pigeons
When I lived in San Diego I just went to a Feed Store and the kids would catch some for me.
If I didn't clip their wings they would fly back the Feed Store and I would buy my pigeons back.
For ducks I would get some popcorn and go to a park or golf course;-)
