Lost Red Setter

Post by DonF » Tue May 06, 2014 9:50 am

The dog lost at a trial in Arizona has been spotted several time's. It's living in some remote country and won't come to anyone. The owner is on his way out to get him. Six weeks on his own like that must have him pretty spooked!

Last report was a potential sighting at another ranch. The rancher has had a few newborn calves that are being killed since this red dog showed up at his ranch..Not 100% sure if it is Brandy or not but not a good sign as that rancher is not a happy camper at all. I pray that it isn't Brandy killing those calves

I would have a hard time believing a single dog no bigger than she must be would attack something the size of a calf. Hope they find her and sounds like they will.

Brandy is a male...I know most brandys are female only reason I stress that brandy is a male is there are some super nice people who are watching the pet finder type sites and I have gotten s one emails on red setter females ...
Anyway I don't think it is brandy either I think he may have been getting a still born or a left over carcass if it is him but I still have Ray and brandy in my o prayers

Don, when I saw the post and the author, I thought you lost your new dog. Glad it wasn't you. I hope they find the boy and he gets returned to his home.

Boy I hope so. I don't think I could lose Stormy if I tried. He's getting out pretty good but always keeps track of me.

Well they got the dog on a trail camera. The owner's folks are there so it should turn out good. Been 9 weeks and the photo of the dog shows him in good shape.
