Got him on two birds today. First one I had mis marked and he darn near ran over it but he did get stopped. To close so I didn't try for a photo, just wanted the bird out of there. Everything went right with his second bird, third bird he's pointed. Plenty of time to get a photo and then walked in a bit till he moved and then popped the bird. I think this guy is gonna be pretty good!
Stormy made it.
Re: Stormy made it.
What type of birds were you using?
Re: Stormy made it.
I use pigeons. At this point I want control of a bird that will fly away when popped. For my other two, I still use a lot of pigeons but they're in foot traps. Quite often when I let the pigeon out it'll just walk around. The boy's both handle it really well. That would be homers, haven't ever had a feral do that. I think if I put some feed on one of them's head, a homer would land and eat the feed!

Finally got time to take one of Cooper. He is Stormy's litter mate brother.
