I've got a female homer with a crusty looking scab type thing happening around her mouth.
Is this canker? I searched a bunch of images of canker and they all show the typical yellow stuff inside the mouth.
She does have 2 young birds that are just now leaving the nest on their own. And, this is her first offspring. I wondered if maybe it had something to do with that?
I haven't handled her so I haven't had a real close look...could it maybe be just crusty food from feeding the young?
I could get some pics tomorrow if it would help.
I'm going to treat the whole loft with the "all in one" just to be safe...
Pigeon question?
Re: Pigeon question?
Its at the corners of her mouth? Yeah that can be feeding young related. Id still look in her mouth to double check for canker.
Re: Pigeon question?
Well, I took pictures, and tried to post them,...but,
For some reason they're too large...?
I don't know if someone changed the size restrictions here or what, but I've always taken pics with my iPhone, uploaded them to photobucket, then just linked them here. There isn't an "edit size" feature on the photobucket iPhone app.
768 pixels is pretty restrictive.
