I need a bell for running my GSP in hunt tests and field trials. Recommendations?

Don't think you will be able to run them with a bell.

I'll have to look into it again. I thought a bell was OK for hunt tests.

I bought a bell from Dogs Unlimited for my father:

http://www.dogsunlimited.com/i/1345/sun ... -bells.htm are pretty good and I also have a couple from Lion Country Supply:

I have 2 bells (Northwoods and Handmade Canadian Low Tone) from Lion Country Supply:

http://www.lcsupply.com/Dog-Bells/products/120/

My favorite bell is one that is made by a fellow trailer from northern WI but will use one of the above when my favorite bell sounds too much like my bracemate's bell.

These bells will work for cover dog trials, but there are other trials I've participated do not allow bells. I don't know about hunt tests.

Don't know about tests but you can use bells in trials. Ask on the Coverdog site, a couple of guys make and sell bells there.

Sunkhaze or the Northwoods from Lion Country Supply are two possibilities.....buy the one that fits your ear.

Probably should clarify, bells are permissible on AKC trials. Other formats may vary.
