navhda NA test ecollar question.

Post by natel24 » Fri Sep 19, 2014 6:28 pm

My pup and I are participating in our first NA test next weekend and I just had one quick question. Can a dog wear an ecollar during testing? I've looked through all the rules in the navhda book and couldn't locate an answer. This is my first ever test and any advice would help also. Thanks.

Nope. See page 9 of the test rules.

Hopefully you have a routine when you collar your dog.
When I go training or hunting it is the same routine. I always turn the collar on by their heads and then put them on the dog. If you are smart, you can figure out your own routine that works for you. Get in your dogs head. :-)
