Garmin Asto DC50 vs T5

OK!!
It is time to purchase my first GPS for my young Brit. I have narrowed it down to the Garmin Astro. Now, is it really worth the extra $100 for the new T5 collar? I have the Pro550 ecollar that has a light on it. I'm thinking go with the DC50 and get maps.

I hunt only in western Oklahoma area. At least for the next few years.

Just asking the opinions of the expert dog handlers/upland hunters on this forum.

I have the DC50 but if you ever plan on competing get the T5. I use a DC40 for competition. If you don't plan on competing and aren't buying the Alpha then it make sense to buy the DC50
