Gun dog Field Trial

I will be hosting a stake for the Brown County Field Trial Club with a Gun Dog Stake, 11/15-11/16. A gun dog stake is nothing more than a opportunity to prove which hunting dog is the best (without killing birds). No reason to be afraid of the "trial" scene. Any hunting dog is welcome, and all are encouraged to attend! Located one hour north of Topeka Ks, and the deadline for entries is Tuesday November 11th at 8 PM, call 785/288/0461. I wish I would have known you were having a Gun Dog stake. I would have scheduled your trial for sure. Wanting to run Cinna as a Shooting Dog, also, to see how she does.

For the newbies, Chris isn't exaggerating. Gun Dog is my favorite stake. If you have a birddog that is reliable on point, you can be competitive and in the running to win. All they have to do is find and point birds... no steady through the fall or anything like that. It's my favorite stake of all.

This is kind of a late ad on due to the overwhelming interest. There really haven't been much for Gun Dog stakes in Ks for years and their seems to be a resurgence lately. Good thing to see!

I'm assuming this is a walking stake? Like to see these stakes! Is this gonna be a broke dog stake?

It is a walking stake and judgement ceases at flush. The broke dog stakes are on Saturday. These stake are a great way to get out with your dog and have some fun, earn some bragging rights, and learn from a great group of other dog enthusiasts!
