I can't remember how to program my backing dog to remote

I have in lcs free spirit remote with an lcs backing dog. What are the steps to pairing the two together?

Stern, I had problems also and called LCS. The customer service guy on the phone rattled off instructions which were perfect and I was rolling in just a few seconds. Give them a call. I was impressed with the service.
