Hello there,

I am reaching out to other PP owners who might guess what kind of coat my puppy will have. I have looked for older posts but didn't see any puppies like him.

Anybody has a dog who was similar to him at 8 weeks? What does he look like now?

I am very anxious to know!

Always kinda hard to tell from pictures but he already has furnishing so he will not be a smooth coat. Looks to me like he will have a nice tighter wire coat. Doesn't look like he will have a soft coat.

PS. I know my picture is of a GSP (my breed) but my Husband has and breeds Pudelpointers

Tough call- I have two both looked basically like that- one has a coarse coat and one had a wooly- here is the wooly as a pup

Where did you get the puppy. Should look somewhat like the parent. I have seen puppies similar posted on a breeders site last year. I want to say it was a breeder in Ohio but might have been Michigan. Either way definitely won't look like mine. She has a longer coat with grayish strands within the liver. I am sure yours will be rich liver color
