Post by bow.hunter123 » Sat Jan 10, 2015 6:09 pm

What are yall thoughts or past experience of hunting a dog that is 50 days into her pregnancy cycle?

I don't hunt them after 4 - 5 weeks, she is less than 2 weeks from whelping.

I agree with Neil, too late for hunting. Once I know that she is pregnant, I think about her and the pups.

Agreed to late in cycle to hunt. Have to think about the pups and moms health. Also look at the big picture the time and investment in the litter.

We do not hunt ours that late. Make sure she gets plenty of exersize. Conditioning really helps at whelping time and some bitches get lazy..........Cj
