Thanks go out to our hosts Randy and Cheryl Neises; Tom and all the Sunflower GSP Club members; trial participants; and the judges! The grounds were a little wet with all the rain we got, but the sun eventually came out and there was just enough of a breeze for the dogs to find birds. My Chevy ran big and found a single & and a wild covey to earn 4th in the Amateur Derby. Gunner, a friend's Brittany that I was handling, took 3rd in the Open Derby with an impressive find having great manners as the birds walked out in front of him. Some great people and beautiful grounds at the Neises ranch! I'd recommend attended this club's walking trials to all those Interested in getting involved in field trials!
