Getting started

Post by Johnplesh » Fri May 08, 2015 12:59 pm

I am brand new to all of this and starting with a 4 yr old weim who's never hunted. I've been advices to check out the perfect start dvd and the book training with Mo, which I'll do. But was also told to first check my dog's bird drive and see if I have anything to work with or see if I can amplify what's there prior to training. Question: 1)How do I do this? 2)Where is the best place to acquire whatever is needed to get started? Thanks in advance, this forum has been great!

In what part of the country do you live. You would be tremendously ahead if you could have someone with a little experience work with your dog a little.
