Ecollar and beeper

Post by getzapped » Tue Jun 16, 2015 8:16 pm

I have also been researching an e-collar. I'm looking for one that either has an integrated beeper locator or one that can be controlled by the remote. anybody have any recommendations for one that won't break the bank.

My favorite is the Dogtra 2500. Beeper points toward the ground but still has a good tone imo. It can also be controlled from the transmitter. I have the two collar system and have been using it for several years. Good luck. You'll need to make the decision about the "bank"

Good luck. Great looking pup! Your fortunate to have many happy years of hunting with your pup to look forward too. Take it slow and don't rush things.

+1 for the Dogtra 2500 T&B. I've had the 2 dog unit for several years and never had a problem. Cabelas has the single unit on sale right now for $349.99.

Dogtra 2500 B/T- $350.00 and you will really get your money's worth rather than spending less than that for an iffy item.

Congratulations. Hope you enjoy it. If you don't mind me asking, do you have experience using an e-collar?
