Our new Setter pup!

Post by S'setter » Mon Aug 24, 2015 10:56 pm

We went to Seattle on saturday to meet a breeder & came home with our new field companon!
Stalking grasshopper in the yard! Wonder what the daily bag limit on grasshoppers is? Recipes anyone?

Great looking pup. Looking forward to watching the progress and hearing about the mischief. The grasshoppers are good covered in chocolate.

Cute pup!

Looks like he'll have a pretty dark face.

My setter pup is at 9 months and he'll point and stalk anything that flies. Still learning that bees are best left alone!

Congratulations- what a beauty. I thought I'd had my last setter , but posts like this give me pause for thought. :)

Although we would have preferred lighter markings... easier to see in the field. No issue... can't be any worse than hunting with a Gordon in the shadows of trees or a Viszla in the Cornfields back in the midwest! She has the Dual lines we were seeking & most of all we liked the attitude!
Thanks for all your comments... We went out & played with a young Chukar! Point, Bark, Chase, & repeat... was all fun!

Learning about Bees is a tough lesson... Hope our pup avoids that one! Porcupines are abundant here too! Hope to avoid that one also!

I've meant to post in this thread several times and forgot.

First what a great looking pup that is going to be a stunner in maturity.

Second, could you pm me the breeders info?

Thanks and enjoy that new puppy smell.
