Training in Ohio??? Delaware???

Was thinking of making a trip down to dog training grounds in Delaware for some bird work soon. Has anybody been down there recently? Was just wondering how tall the grass was and if it would even be fit to plant some birds for training?

I stopped by there the beginning of August. The area I went to was really tall. My dog didn't really get out and expand because it too so much energy to get through/over the grass. I ended up working on retrieving at the one pond. It was also pretty warm that day.

Where are you coming from? I stopped at Killdeer as well and that was super tall as well. They did tell me at Killdeer they will be mowing before woodcock/pheasant season.

I believe Woodbury is tended to.
