G2 Pro 100 transmitter battery

Post by rkelly » Mon Sep 14, 2015 1:56 pm

Does anybody know where I can get a transmitter battery for this model? I called Tri Tronics/Garmin and they said they have been discontinued.

you are screwed they aren't available anymore, and Garmin recently phased out the G3.

Their new collars that supposedly replace the G3 don't do anything useful the G3 didn't do, planned obsolescence and piss poor customer care. I've been a tri tronics guy for 25 years and am looking elsewhere.

Well after extensive research I realized they are discontinued and you can't get them anywhere. So now I basically have a $400 paper weight. I was always a very happy tri tronics customer as well, but will not be supporting them anymore. I have a Ranger boat that is 10 yrs old and I can call them and get any little piece. It seems to me Garmin could find a way to produce these batteries if they really wanted to.

I just got new batteries for my G3 Transmitter and 3 Collars from the Collar Clinic. These batteries for the G3 are six AAA rechargeable Panasonic batteries, wired together with a 'shrink wrapped' cover. I ordered them on line or you can call them at 1-800-430-2010.

I also believe that most of the new Battery Stores can make you up one anytime, it is exactly up their alley!

Not true for the collar batteries, when they stop making them our gear will be obsolete!

Good Luck
