Before and After Photos - My Llewellin

Post by Montana » Thu Oct 08, 2015 8:22 am

Here are a couple photos of my Llewellin, "JD", when he was a puppy and what he looks like now... It's interesting how the ticking comes in as they mature. Many people find it hard to believe this is the same dog....

Nice looking dog! As puppy to see ticking, rub your hand forward on the hair and look at the skin under the hair!

I think I recognize Barney's puppy picture.....is he from Kyle at Paintriverllwewllins? I think he might be a litter mate to my Whip.

Whip didn't change too much but he darkened up nicely.

I love his blond eyelashes and he's by far the best dog I've ever owned.

To the OP, your tri-color Llew is beautiful!

Barney is from the Milo/Lucy breeding from Little River Kennels in Alton, NH. He is great in the house with my two kids (1 and 3) and loves to hunt. He's a great dog.

I REALLY like the looks of all your setters. Making me want one someday. I'm also enjoying watching Whip grow. With that unique name, it makes it easy to follow.

Ha ha, thanks. I love the name. My wife came up with it and that was his name the moment I heard it!

....so excited for our season opener on Saturday. My Brittany got lame and then I lost her last Sept so I haven't hunted upland birds in about 4 years.
