Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership

Post by Gertie » Thu Nov 05, 2015 10:30 am

Our club was recently contacted by this organization to sign a petition. It looks like a legit organization whose goals are to maintain access to public lands. Are any of you part of it or have you heard of it? http://www.trcp.org

Yes. It is a legit group working hard to maintain access to public lands and in the best interest of sportsmen and women. My wife flew out to their summit for 4 days in Bozeman earlier this year for work. Some of us don't have those public lands in our backyard but travel to be able to get the benefits of having them.

This is a great group. Think of them as an organization that helps organize other groups. Our CEO at Pheasants Forever is an executive member of the TRCP.

Great. It seemed pretty legit. Next question, is there anything in AKC bylaws that would prohibit our club from signing this petition?
