Wife had a scare

Post by mnaj_springer » Mon Nov 09, 2015 10:08 am

We went up to northern Minnesota for deer opener this past weekend. I was sure to remind my wife to keep a close watch on the dogs, especially our EP who loves to range out. When I got back Saturday night my mother-in-law said our EP had an incident. Apparently she ran into the woods and shortly thereafter shots were fired and she can back with a bad cut on her ear. My wife thought she was shot and was frantic. After looking her over, I was pretty certain she ran into some barbed wire (she had some long cuts on her legs). Crisis averted and everyone is healthy and happy.

Just a reminder during deer season to be safe!

Glad all is well. I'm very wary when putting the dog on the ground during deer season. Now it's just bird and squirrel hunters til the end on January.

Deer season is tough. I go to SD. Keep orange vests on them and never hunt areas cars are parked near.l
