The link was to a article about feeding sled dog but had a whole group of messages from AARP imbedded in it. I deleted the link but you might try it again if it doesn't have the messages imbedded.

The feeding wasn't anything new, the recovery without a full days rest was what I found interesting.

The synopsis—as often is the case with popular reporting on science stories—is thin on explaining how the recovery mechanism is postulated to work, but it will be very interesting to read the study when it is published.
