A guy I know has a mixer that he can remote control from our side on the ground. Blew my mind first time I saw it!

That's cool and all, but I always worry about when that stuff goes bad (and you know it will). I always figured if you learn how to reverse with a trailer, parrellel park, or anything else then you won't need any assistance. Still really cool though (even if it is on a ford).

There are a lot of skills I worry about modernization minimizing, backing a trailer is down the list. Politeness, manners, awareness, and acceptance are much more important. If you are raised right, you will go help your neighbor back his trailer.
