Training pigeons in Denver, Colorado area?

Its a long story, but I've lost the use of my homing pigeons for training.

Anyone in the Denver area know a source of training pigeons? I was buying birds from a guy who trapped them and sold them for training, but he no longer does that.

Hi Reba,

Thanks for the tip. I've done numerous Craiglist searches for pigeons from Ft. Collins to Colorado Springs, and can only find homers and fancy breeds. I am looking for cheap feral pigeons to release.

Try looking into nuisance trappers. many times they are more than happy to sell what they trap to eliminate the need for them to dispose of them.
