I would like to put a fan on my dogs crate. Any suggestions?

Lion Country has some that are battery driven.

I was looking at one there. I think it was $80. Have you used it?

No, I use these http://www.gundogsupply.com/cagcoolfan.html. I live in the north and really don't need a more powerful fan. I have a pair of these I've had for over 12 years now. Only think I did was to attach them to the crate door with electrical ties.

I love my Ruff Tough fans. However for a cheaper option I would look and Endless Breeze or an electric radiator fan. Most auto parts store will carry electric radiator fans on hand, most are thin, and most are easy to install.

I use the one from Gun Dog Supply that was listed. Here in my part of N.C. it does a decent job of keeping my pup cool. I don't put my dog in a crate until his panting has slowed to a more normal rate and if he is wet I wait until he is dry before I put him in. This I find helps.
