Opinions on the SD Tek 1.0

Post by ben33127 » Thu Aug 04, 2016 6:02 pm

Looking into buying one. I've had the 1825 for a few years with no problems but want a track option. Can someone give me some feedback if you own one.....

I went from the 1825 to a Tritronics and then Tek 1.0. Love the Tek, simple to use and switch between track and train. No extras like maps but great at what it does. I run two dogs on it, can track both and switch easily between them to train.

My buddy has a Tek 1.0. He likes it but has had some problems. First it wasn't tracking at all, so he sent it in. Then it was tracking poorly... location was off like 40 yards.

Very interested in this thread as it is about time to retire the old Innotek 1600 Track N Train. Have seen a new TEK 1.0 listed for $499. Curious if the TEK 2.0 and the Garmin, both of which are $799, are worth the extra coin.

I am very interested in the simplicity of the TEK. I just want to know where the dog is in relation to me and if he is stopped or moving.
I hope it is accurate.
