Has anyone experienced a puppy breaking their femur bone mor

She broke her leg, and then about 2 months later her leg broke again about an inch above the original break.

That's terrible! I'm so sorry that has happened. Never had that happen to any of my pups, but have seen it happen on vet shows. One big leap from a bed for example can do it. Breaking it again I just call bad luck. Once fully healed , for a dog or a person, I see no reason why one would think it would break again. jmo

Our son came home from having the cast removed from his broken arm and was in the ER within an hour with another break in the same arm.

It's terribly bad luck, best wishes on good healing and no more broken bones for your dog.

My 8 moth old pup back in the day broke his femur. Amputated his leg, he lived to be 9 and hunted his whole life.

Not a femur but my pup broke his "knee" at 4 months. Poor guy had to stay in his kennel for a month, only getting carried out to go to the bathroom. Sorry about your pup that is rough!
