Hope everyone and their animals are able to stay safe with all the subzero Temps hitting the United States.

It's -2* here. I took the dogs out for their run, shortened it to 25 minutes because my hands got cold. Once the dogs were back in the yard did they huddle by the door, waiting to be let in? No, they rolled around in the snow and played snowplow.

Is there a temp employment agency for sled dogs? :D

My new little BF pup is hating it. Of course, he's only 13 weeks old and we're having one bitch of a December so far...

Also had to spend time trimming all that hair out of the paws. They hate iceballs in their toes.

House dogs. They are fine. About 15 minutes running through the deep snow and they are ready to flop down in front of the wood stove and toast their hides.

That running through the deep snow is hard work. Not really running, but bounding in high jumps to get anywhere.

The Papillon just jumps from one of my footprints to the next and if I stay out too long, he goes inside without me.
