Ok coming up negative there...How about what I should do to check on the breeder. This is the first dog I have ever purchased. My current dog is vizsla mix and is a great bird dog....

I'd ask on the versatile hunting dog forums. I'll guarantee someone there will know.

Web site is a little strange the pedigrees of there dogs they list are nice but they don't list anything for the bear Siva litter which is what I assume your looking at.

This is the first time I am buying a dog from a breeder. I called a few people that have his dogs and they are very happy. I will see if i can get the pedigrees.

I can not figure out how to post the pedigree's to the forum. Driving me nutz. Anyway, its a small world. My bothers wife' uncle from Vermont has a Vizsla and he was in Town for Christmas. We started talking and he got a Vizsla from Tiszabec's Vizslas about 4 years ago. He said he did a bunch of research and the breeder was very good.
Then 2 days later all my high school buddy's were in town and my child hood friend roomed with the now veterinarian that works with Tiszabecs.
Small world...
SO i guess i will take the hit for the team and let you all know how the dog turns out..

Happy New Year all....

Just wanted to follow up.... I picked my pup up in Livonia NY last Friday. The breeder seems good. He has a bird field bird coop and a pond to train his dogs. I got the pick of the litter. The dog seems smart almost completely house broken already. knows sit, kennel and I have started him on holding(whoa).
The best part is i pulled a frozen bird wing out of the downstairs freezer and it was like throwing a switch...... he started to play with that and he was a different dog. oh yea slept through the night last night......
As you can tell I am proud.....Love this little guy already...
I will report back with more in a few months encase anyone else is doing research about the breeder,

Slow down you have a baby that needs a year to grow up, another year to mature and then you will have 8 or 10 years of excellent work out of your pup.

Ezzy,
I am not trying to push the training, I am just going by what he is capable of. This is my fist pointer but my v mix was like this as a pup. With him I could train him with minimal effort and he would give 100% all the time. Wish I could have cloned him.
Right now I am working on obedience. House breaking seems to be 95% complete. So..... next its leash manners. Slow and steady.....
