Hi

I am thinking of buying a Franchi Instinct O/U and was looking to see if others had any feedback for me on these. I have been researching them online and havent really found anything to negative other then recoil is a little harsh due the weight of the gun itself.

Thanks

Love my L. Mounts beautifully for me. Going to be a great gun for upland hunting.

Do you think the SL is worth the 150.00 over the L?

I bought a SL 20 ga two years ago. Love it. Shoots well and a pleasure to carry all day.
I'll shoot a 100 rounds of skeet a few times a year and its been good. Don't know if it will take a steady
pounding, but for hunting, its great.

Considering an S in 28 ga

I went with the L due to the weight. I liked the little heavier steel receiver. Plus I love the case hardened look. Either gun will be grate for you. Mine is a 12 gauge and a buddy has a 20, both guns are nice.

You want to try them both. I went with my son this winter, he wanted one. He tried both the L and SL. For BOTH of us, the L shouldered and swung better than the SL. There is very little weight difference between the two if I remember correctly. Not everyone shoots a light weight gun well. A tad heavier gun swings through better for the average person.

TRY THEM BOTH BEFORE YOU BUY.

I have both in 20 gauge. I like the sl better but I like light weight guns with a little bit of weight forward. If you like the balance point of a gun in between your hands then you will like the L version more.
Good luck both are great reasonably priced O/Us

I have a 20 gauge that I have shot for two seasons now. They are super nice and work great. I bought some additional choke tubes for flexibility.
