GSP history question

Post by lpk_moe » Wed Jul 12, 2017 11:52 am

Anyone know a good place to read about different GSP bloodlines? I would like to learn more about different lines. Looking for characteristics, conformation, or anything else I could read. I am just wanting to learn more of a history of the breed.

Books - The new german shorthaired pointer by Bede C. Maxwell and the newer version by Robert H. Mckowen
The first was written in the early 60s and the latter in the late 90s. both are excellent and available on Amazon.
Also some good quick history on westwind gsp in kansas website and it has the a good quick version of the history.
