Gun Dog Forum

I'd like to extend a hearty "welcome!" to our newest Gun Dog Forum moderator SHARON. She's been an active member on Gun Dog Forum since 2008 and many of you have enjoyed her interesting questions, input, advice and support via this Forum!

We're very happy to have Sharon helping with moderating here, many thanks Sharon.

For those who participate on this Forum and might be interested in becoming a Moderator here as well, feel free to drop me a PM (private message) and we can discuss the Moderator process and see if there's a good fit. Preference given to those persons who've been members for several years, active or previously active with bird dog(s), enjoy reading and responding to posts in a timely fashion, have time to do brief management tasks to keep the Forum organized, and have a balanced and thoughtful and encouraging way of communicating with others. You don't have to be an expert trainer/breeder/competitor to be selected. Please no jabs here regarding moderators, as we're all volunteers and this is a great opportunity to be a part of helping to make this Forum even better!

Welcome Sharon,

I am a Retriever guy, but we do hunt upland game as well as waterfowl. I have three Golden's all trained as gun dogs. My youngest is 4 now and she is an AKC SH! She is a joy to work with and we are excited for this years season to begin.....

My compliments to a lady that has all the best of intentions in her heart and comes with a pedigree in bird dogs of her own! She has hunted and competed successfully with GSPs and setters in the CKC and American Field. Don't let her warm-hearted humble modesty mislead you. She has walked-the-walk.
