"Corn Lot Sunset"

Post by Irishwhistler » Sun Nov 26, 2017 6:16 pm

Aye Mates,
I was out with me camera doing some shots today when my wife called me cell and asked if I could pick up some milk and bread. When receiving her call, I was on a high point of elevation with a vista looking in a southeasterly direction. The sky was lacking the spectacular colors I was seeking. I left the location and made a run to the general store about 1 mile northwest. I doubled back in a southerly direction when exiting the store and saw a pinkish glow that got more intense as I progressed. I continued south past my turnoff and went to a location of higher elevation expecting I would gain an excellent perspective. Patience and persistence pays huge dividends in capturing beautiful images.

This image has not been enhanced and is exactly as the camera captured it. I was mesmerized by this spectacular atmospheric display.
