Anybody ever used a Slopper Stopper water bowl?

I have a pudelpointer with a beard that gets water everywhere and am getting a second one soon. I would just go ahead and try it but they are pretty expensive. If it actually works though it might be worth it. Just wondering if anybody has some experience with it and if it works as well as they say.

Might be worth looking into by the end of the year, when my GSP is full grown, and I will have just finished a new kitchen for my wife.

Looks to me like it won't help a DD. They load the beard then protect the water until they can drip it over the rest of the house.
