I judged a NSTRA trial year's ago in really bad weather. Got probably a bit over a foot of snow by the end of the day. Was told by the locale to watch out for rock chuck hole's was a lot of them. Easy fix. I put up my horse and judged the whole day on foot. Few people didn't like it but it wasn't their horse and if it did go down, wasn't their body it would fall on. Judged the next day on the other field, snow was all gone and beautiful weather.
It's not worth it to me to risk energy to myself or the horse just to judge. I have judged in the pouring rain in both NSTRA and AKC. Wasn't my idea of a good time but I survived it!
