Looking for a hands-free video camera to wear when working dogs. Considering either the Garmin or GoPro...thoughts?

Neither. There are non mainstream brand cameras out there that are just as good if not better than both.

I have owned the Hero 4 Silver and my Eken H9R is just as good at 1/3 the price.

There are some good ones used by Law Enforcement.

Some really good ones that mount on the shotgun barrel.
