Got a couple good pics on our run yesterday. He had a few points but no quail. He points doves maybe because hes been worked on pugeons idk. I dont say anything at this point since hes just trying to figure it all out.

What a pretty dog!

Much better to have a pup point stink birds than not point anything at all.

To a young dog, birds are birds are birds. It's up to us to convey stink birds from game birds. You can never go wrong using pigeons unless you use them improperly.
He is a very handsome dog, for sure! Congrats!
