GPS/Tracker Recommendations

Post by gregwes » Fri Jun 07, 2019 3:08 pm

Hi all, I'm looking for a GPS tracker for my GSP's.  What I'm looking for is one without all the bells and whistles.  Don't need maps, fences, stimulation etc.  Just something very basic and simple.  Something that just shows where the dog is.

Not looking at Astro's, Pathfinders or Alpha's

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks so much!

Greg

Consider searching EBay for used / reconditioned Garmin / Tri Tronics GPS collars. They wear like iron and early generations have less bells and whistles.

The Garmin 550 plus is simple and has a direction arrow, dog stud indicator and range, on a mini screen on the bottom of the handheld. The handheld is what I call a stick handheld/remote. It’s what all the main training collars are like.
