I'm sending my dog south seeing as the dakotas aren't north for me. My dog will be 14 months when she gets there.

I envy you. I miss the when I had the time to devote to the dog. Living in the Prairies its not for the lack of wild birds that I send her to a pro, its time. With a young family and a busy work life I will gladly pay a pro to work my dog.

Actually guys, very little of my training is done on wild birds. What I do have is a lot of public land around and I know where to get pigeons. I'm retired now, but a draw back is my "bird kid" helpers are grown up and out of the house now. So I have to find some local kids and they are dang few and too busy with other things. It was always a half hour or an hour I could spent with my kids.

not knocking you at all Fish, im not setup to work dogs at my place. i have to load up and drive 20-30 min away. With a wife and three daughters my time is very limited.
