Hey guys, I'm looking for suggestions on English Setter breeders within a couple hour drive of me in Chapel Hill NC. I'm hoping to find a puppy that will be a close-working grouse dog. Sadly, I'll be dog-less for my annual October trip to north-central WI. A Wisconsin-Minn breeder would also be a possibility if you know of some, but puppy-timing would make that a narrow time window.

Berg brothers are now Ironfire Setters and are located in Colorado. Red and English Setters.
They do a very good job, have been breeding forever and are contientious breeders.
I used to train with them. Very nice Dogs. They do still have Some MN.Connections Through Roger. You can't do better.....Cj

I agree with the others on Berg Bros. My training buddy has one and it is a very nice dog. He got his in MN about a year and a half ago.

I think there are two different sets of Bergs? Ben and Scott Berg are Berg Bros Setters in MN. The Colorado Berg is Eric who took over Ironfire from his dad Roger who had the business in MN also.

Either way, nice looking dogs.

CJ, MN must have something in the water, producing dogs like that
