Guy's and gal's the time has come.....

Guy's and gal's, the time has come to "lock" a few threads. Plain and simple. Questions have been ask, answers have been given, tempers have flared and opinions, both good and bad have been formed. Nobody( and it's not limited to one)has been or will be singled out on this, but I think you know who you are and why I have done what I have done. If you don't then simply understand that all that could be said was said and re-said, many more time than was necessary. The board is and has always been an open forum, but moderation does have to happen from time to time, and well now is the time....."period"
The threads will remain in place for reference, and nothing has or will be removed or altered from here out. If anybody has said or acted in a way that they regret... Well let that be a lesson. Now let's continue on knowing that GDF is one of the best and open forums for gundogs on the net. If anybody feels this has drug on way to long I take some responsibility for that, and I'll not say anything more than we as "Moderators" all have other lives jobs and hobbies. When we must discuss matters it doesn't take place in a matter of minutes..... I personally have a had a computer down for upgrades and am working nights with a family member (mother) in the hospital. I ask for no sympathy, simply explaining for those who may wonder why "moderation" can take so long. That can be explained by simply restating we have other things we do and acting in hast may not be the best answer..... Thanks for your time and understanding. Thank you, Pear. I appreciate your and the other moderator's efforts in keeping GDF a place that I and my kids can hang out.

Thanks Moderators! Again, y’all have spent tons of time shifting through threads, and if it weren’t for you, GDF would have gone down the drain, as I’ve failed to play an active part lately.

I’m very proud of GDF, so thanks again Mods and you members who make this a great place. If it wasn’t for y’all, we’d just have my cheesy articles on the front page and a few pics. (Great fun huh!?)

Anyway, just remember to not attack people with your keyboard. (and perhaps your mouse) Keep posts impersonal….
