hey

Post by grant » Thu Apr 05, 2007 7:14 pm

Hey everyone! GDF is GROWING like crazy, so thanks for hanging out! Last month, we were 278 page views short of 400,000.

Thanks again to all of the GDF mods for helping me keep this site under control, Greg for helping sniff out spam, and most important YOU, the member!

I would not be able to run this site financially if it weren’t for our sponsors! Please take the time to visit their site and do some business with them.

My friends Robbie and Tracey are getting their pup this weekend, so I’m stoked about that! I’ll be an uncle.

I have some giveaways coming up. If you would like to donate, shoot me an email or pm, so I can arrange it for you.

Take Care,

Grant

I am a new Sponosor and felt that I should sponsor because of the things that I learn from everyone. My specialty may be Labrador's but I love learning about all the different breeds and how they train.I have trained dogs for over 20 years and am still learning techniques. My next dog will be a pointer and I believe it is from all of the influence from this site!! Grant and i are in the process of me having a giveaway so be watching for it!!!!!

I joined up about 3 years ago.

There were just us newbies here then. As time has progressed, we (I mean "we" the GDF community) have grown into a very diverse group.

We're not just GSPs newbies now. We have very experienced folks, we have pointer folks, brittany folks, retriever folks, we even have some non-gundog folks that hang out here.

What has not changed is that the GDF community prides itself on being accepting, open-minded and friendly.

That, IMHO, is why this site has flourished while others have gone down so sharply.

Let's keep it up!

Best regards to all, Greg J.

I have been around here for a few years and this site was slow in the begining but it sure isn't now. This has grown into my favorite site and I don't even post on many other sites anymore. Thanks to all that make this happen.

I'm a Newbie,
This is an awesome site. If it wasnt for this site and my trainer I'd still be going in circle. A big thanks to all of you that have posted the info for everyone to learn and help this sport grow.

In just a couple of months I have learned more about gun dogs than I ever thought I would know. The site is great, the people are great and there is so much great information to be had from the forum. With my new pup at home, I'm sure I'll be back for much more.

I've been doing the message board thing for a long time, but it has only been recently (within the last 8 months) that I started posting in dog forums. Before it was just skiing forums. Now that I've once again become addicted to bird hunting, thanks to my dog, I love reading all the opinions and information here.
