Hi again just had another call from my husband and my dog Ch fugelere Arista Figaro QC has just won another novice trial!! Am so thrilled although today on the champ trial he was up there for a placing but the gun wouldn't go off so that blew it for him, they let him run on another 5 minutes but no birds so could not go for the retrieve and placing!! oh dear. see a pic of him on our web www.arista.co.nz cheers Simone

I didn't realise they had to retrieve in the trials there. They don't in the UK.

Yes we have to do a retrieve but only in the champ trials novice and open don't have to. have just spoken to ross tonight hes been to another trial today and Fig was once again close to winning but the took a few to many steps when the pheasant appeared! But he is doing well for a show dog. They have a open trial tomorrow with good entries, so here is hoping he does well.
