I haven't been on here for a while but I figured I'd share some pics of my two labs in training. They have extremely soft mouths.

Thanks for the comment on the table. I borrowed it from a trainer here in Utah.

I just typed up a whole book of info on force-fetching but I timed out and don't have time to write it again at the moment.

I'll have to tell you another time.

This is pretty much my basic way of doing force fetch. I always start on the table and I only do the ear pinch.

What part of Utah are you in. Did you barrow the table from a lab trainer.

That is the best article on force training I have ever seen. Wish it had been around when I started. I do do some things a bit different but that should work for anyone. It should be a sticky!

I said I do things a bit different but that is so close it's scary. Great article in the begining leading up too. I suspect that if only willing soft mouthed dogs were bred we'd be better off. But I ran into enough that were not that I learned ff. Now I just ff everything because I want my dog retrieveing on command only. This makes me re-think my position.
