continental airlines.......used them twice. pressurized/climate controlled cargo area. plus, the workers really do take good care of them.

I agree. I've used Continental a dozen times and was always very happy with how the dogs were handled.

I've used Delta for a couple of hundred dogs, and American for about half as many and never had the slightest bit of trouble with any of them. Used continental for two or three and they've done well for me as well.

More than anything I use L N T pet transport any more. When I figure the total cost to me and the customer it's only about 100.00 more usually and the convenience of having them pick up at my doorstep and deliver to the clients doorstep it's more than worthwhile. CR
There's a reason I like dogs better'n people

I've flown with my dogs 3 times, one of which was with two dogs to NYC for Westminster. All 3 times with Delta, mainly because they had the best flight times and prices. Each time I've been very happy with them. Great attitudes from everybody involved.

Generally Contintal and Delta are the best about handling...not that they are issue free they do the best of them all

Except delta in the denver area for some reason they ahve some problems there every now and then Had 3 people I know shipping dogs this year that had issues through the denver area

Question - do you plan on shipping a dog alone or are you flying with it?

Either way, my position is that I will only fly nonstop. The biggest chance of a screwup is on a layover and I'm just not going to risk it. Besides that, a layover adds several hours to the amount of time that the dog will be stuck in a crate.
